Glamorous clothes for The MADS 2012

A while ago, I was lucky enough to win an all-expenses trip to The MADS 2012 – a rather fabulous awards ceremony celebrating the best in parent blogging in the UK. Many of my best blogging friends have been finalists and have won awards and have all had a wonderful time at the ceremonies over the years. So, I’m very excited to be able to go this year. And also very excited to have been allowed to choose an outfit from Littlewoods. I wasn’t pleasantly surprised (my Littlewoods purchases in the past have mostly been bed clothes and the odd pack of socks) to find some very glamorous dresses for sale from them and some lovely shoes, too.

This is what I settled on – and huge apologies for awful lighting and inability to really see the clothes, I was taking the pictures myself using a camera phone and without a flash, because, well, flashes don’t work in mirrors!

I am definitely most excited about the shoes. They are the funkiest shoes I have ever even dreamt of wearing. And they come in a gorgeous box, too. You can see the dress and shoes better on the Littlewoods site, but hopefully someone with better camera skills will take my picture on Friday and I can show the outfit off in all its glory.

I am now eyeing up another pair of Irregular Choice shoes, too. Somehow I don’t think someone’s going to splash out on them for my birthday.
