I’m back and too tired to come up with anything especially coherent, but was typing a Facebook status update and thought I should just put it here, instead…

Had a lovely weekend. Caught up with some old friends, met some new ones, missed a whole bunch of people, learnt a little, cried so much I had snot running out of my nose, laughed so much I had snot running out of my nose, frowned, giggled, had a ride in a chauffeur-driven car, experienced the bizarrest lifts ever, spent quite a lot of money, came home with some free stuff for the family, handed over lots of mini cards, came home with far too many of my own and a few of other people’s, ate some nice food, drunk some nice wine, and then some nice beer …

Realising that I’m obviously far too mercenary

The writing workshop that morphed into a rather bizarre ‘Rename your blog’ workshop

The journey home, thanks to engineering works everywhere

Not managing to see everyone I wanted to see and only talking to others very briefly

Will I go back next year? Almost certainly.
